THE ALLSTARS
Arsya Kadyanto, Soprano
Arsya is the group’s super-soprano. In addition to hitting all those sweet high notes, she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Geophysics at the Colorado School of Mines, but music has been a big part of her life. Born and raised in Indonesia, she found her passion in music and singing when she first joined a choir in fourth grade. She later joined professional youth choir, which furthered her vocal potential. She’s been singing every since, whenever she finds the opportunity. When she’s not singing or schooling, she likes taking walks, attempting to bake, trying out coffee spots, and cuddling with her cats.
Arsya’s kind-hearted disposition and can-do attitude are greatly valued in the group. She constantly has everyone giggling, and she balances the silliness with focus and professionalism. Arsya has been a member of the following groups:
T-Time, a barbershop quartet
Skyline Chorus
Lily Timmons Rowe, Mezzo
Lily is the Allstars’ lovely mezzo-soprano and one of the group’s masters of music theory. She graduated with a degree Music Performance from MSU Denver; her great love in life is to share the joy of singing with everyone, everywhere. Lily is Denver-born and raised, and she has spent her entire life singing and performing in musical groups across Colorado. Despite her roots being firmly planted in the realm of choral music, she loves to expand into several genres, such as opera, jazz, and (of course) a cappella. She loves delivering joy to others in this way and is a true delight to watch on stage. While music is Lily’s passion, she also loves her books, her dog, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
Lily arranges music for the Allstars and co-directs the group, keeping everyone organized and focused on the goals at hand. She also manages the group’s social media part-time. She has performed with the following groups:
MSU Denver Chorale
St. Martin’s Chamber Choir, Intern Singer in 2018 and 2022
Several local adult and youth choirs in the Denver Metro area
Holly Vose, Alto
Holly brings the rich low-end of the Allstars’ sound as the alto of the group. A Colorado native, Holly has been singing in choirs, rock bands, and various ensembles for her entire life. Although she has a passion for music, she recently obtained her Master's degree at the Colorado School of Mines in the Quantitative Biosciences and Engineering program, where she received her B.S. in the same. Holly has been a part of numerous musical endeavors in and around the Denver metro area, and as a part of various local musical theatre projects. She keeps the group motivated with her wickedly smart and humorous nature, and helps the group stay in tune as the resident pitch pipe.
Holly’s clear, strong tones contribute to the group’s unique sound, and her impressive ability to pick up the music and make the performance her own shows through both in rehearsal and onstage. She has performed with the following groups:
Barbershop quartets: Counterpoint (3rd place, Rising Star Competition 2023) and Verse (11th place, BHS NextGen 2024)
Colorado School of Mines’ premiere acapella groups: The Melodic Miners and Miner Dissonance
The Guardians Band
Tristan Andersen, Tenor/Baritone
Tristan’s sweet tenor/baritone sounds add his characteristic funk to the Allstars. Having received his BA from the University of Denver, he’s expanded his constant pursuit of inner peace by exploring all kinds of places (both musical and beyond) all over the country. He currently lives in Allenspark, CO, where he nurtures the free spirit he’s known for in the group by enjoying the natural beauty that the state has to offer.
His relaxed mindset adds a sense of creative freedom to the group. He’s always willing to approach something from a new and exciting angle, and encourages everyone around him to expand their understanding of what the musical process can look like. Not to mention that his wildly powerful vocal talents bolster the group’s sound. Tristan is a repeat a capella artist, having participated in DU’s Idiosingcrasies and Exit 205 groups.
Paul Lannon, Tenor/VP
Paul has been the Allstars’ VP (vocal percussionist) for over a decade. He began his career in music in 2007, obtaining a B.A. from DU and pursuing collegiate and competitive a cappella ever since. Paul brings sharp wit and great ability to the stage, and he always aims to undersell and overdeliver.
His incredible work ethic and relentless determination is incorporated into his professional and musical pursuits. Because making beats is his forte, he often keeps his beautiful tenor range to himself, but an Allstars show will bring it out one way or another. Additionally, Paul acts as the Allstars’ DJ, looping elements of the show in real time and ensuring the group always sound excellent.
Paul is an award-winning entertainer and arranger within the collegiate a cappella world. He has performed with the following groups:
University of Denver’s Idiosingcrasies
CNFDNTL (Confidential)
Rhythm & Dudes
Grant Hamilton, Bass/VP
Grant is the Allstars’ resident bass and Music Director. He’s earned his B.A. in Music Education and Theory at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, and comes from a family of accomplished musicians. Grant has consistently expanded upon his knowledge and skills in arrangement and composition, and he arranged a large percentage of the Allstars’ current repertoire.
Grant’s musical expertise is an enormous asset to the Allstars. A natural-born educator, he currently holds a position teaching at the Bear Creek K-8 School. Grant not only brings the low low end to the Allstars’, he also adds more than a touch of punk rock, with edgy baritone solos and his signature snapback. Grant has arranged music for a cappella, barbershop, and choral groups around the state.
